Worst Plan Ever: Batman the Bold and the Brave

I've been watching Batman the Bold and the Brave and as a kids show I give it a fair amount of slack, but after the last episode I watched I had to comment on what it quite likely the worst plan ever.

the story starts with Adam Strange asking Batman to come and help him protect another plannet. Batman stops by to see Aquaman on the way and see that he is depressed so he convinces him to come along. They are hit with a Zeta Ray and brought to the world where they discover that the lizard aliens are trying to find a doomsday weapon.

This weapon of course just happns to be underwater so suddenly Aquaman has sometihng to do, but when they get there he refuses to call for help and they get the weapon. Most of this makes sense and Adam Strange is even kinda interesting in a 1960's pulp sort of way.

This is when things start to fall appart though. The weapon is a flying saucer with a laser that shoots out of the bottom and is solar powered. This means that as long as it stays in the sun it will run forever.

In order to stop it they decided they need an eclipse, but this world has no moon and so they decide... To Bring Earths moon there to create an eclipse. In order to power it Aquaman swims to the ocean floor where he attaches a cable to a convenient tube that emites power and they use the Zeta ray to bring the entire moon into orbit around the world causing an eclipse. Going ot of their way to explain that if this isn't perfect the moon won't end up where it is supposed to be.

Meanwhile Adam Strange blows a hole in the top of the ship and goes in to slow down the enemy while Batman brings the earths moon.

I see a few holes in this plan.

1> Adam Strange can get in the ship, so why not just invade the ship?

2>Why earth's moon? They have the technology to target anything why not a moon that isn't orbiting a plannet.

3> Batman runs the alien piece of equipment to bring the moon here rather than one of the scientists who has been running it for years.

4> So, what happens to the earth's climate, oceans, weather, ect... with the moon gone, even if it's only for a few minutes.

Here are a few plans I came up with off the top of my head that make more sense than bringnig the entire earths moon to another world with zeta rays.

bring a giant tarp from another world drap it over the ship. Bring superman from earth to the planet. Use the Zeta Ray on the ship to send it to the center of the sun. Have Adam Strange and a few others dump buckets of paint over the top of the alien ship so the solar pannels no longer work.

This wouldn't be so bad if the people coming up with the plan were kids, but we are supposed to have the King of Atlantis, the protector of a world and the world's greatest detective. And worst of all, it doesn't even look all that cool when they do it.
